Where has the time gone!

My goodness! It's been a month since I blogged! :( Sorry! What a wonderful month it's been. Josh and I got to visit most of our friends and family over the holidays and had a wonderful time.

Already officially 5 full months into the pregnancy and we were totally going to wait to find out what the sex of the baby is, the doctor asked and just as Josh's Mom predicted I couldn't resist! It felt like slow motion when the doctor told us he was 99.9% sure that... it's A BOY! I was struck with a bunch of funny and exciting emotions...happiness for Josh...he is having a boy to teach Rugby to...uneasiness, but an elated uneasiness that the kid will probably pee on me daily! I am so happy though...it feels like I kind of know the baby a bit better now!

I have felt like it was a boy from the beginning and have had dreams about it. The dream that I had was a hooded figure - actually I think it was Cate Blanchette - weird...but anyway Cate took me by the shoulders looked at me and told me," Deanna, you are having a boy." It was spooky. I should write her and tell her she came to me in my dream...I bet she would tell all of her friends how crazy some people are!

Josh and I were so excited that day...we celebrated over lemonade and lunch at Chili's (yep, Chili's they are all over the place here in the Middle East!) - try the lemonade - it's fabulous!

Anyway...that's the deal with us...all is good so far away...I'll be home Feb. 8th and in Libertyville until the 11th. Beautiful Bobbi & Becca are throwing a shower for me on the 10th - I'm very excited to see them and all coming that day...On the 11th flying to Michigan where I will be rushing around to make sure I have everything from the US that I want for the baby. My awesome Aunts are throwing me a shower on the 16th and my fab friends Shara & Tina are having a shower on the 17th. I'll be flying back to Abu Dhabi on the 21st.

Next time most of you see Josh & I, we will have a new baby! Oh my gosh!
